Following the success of our April High School Program, LAWAC is excited to welcome back an extraordinary panel of experts for "Artificial Intelligence: Securing the Future – DeepSeek & New Threats Through Social Media and Entertainment" on June 25th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the UCLA Faculty Club. 


Our panelists are: 

  • Salima Bhimani, Ph.D., Principal at 10X Responsible Tech & Alphabet’s former Chief Strategist and Director for Responsible Technology, Business, and Leaders;  
  • Rick Hack, VP, Media & Entertainment at Perpetual Intelligence, former Head of Media & Entertainment Partnerships at Intel;
  • Michael Greenberg, Head of Strategy at Snap Inc.—a global AR and social media platform with over 750 million users;
  • Moderating the talk will be Associate Professor of Computer Science at Occidental College, Professor Justin Li, Ph.D.


Together, they will explore how powerful generative AI tools like ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and others are transforming media, entertainment, and social platforms—introducing profound national security risks in the form of deepfakes, misinformation, and weaponized content. 


Italian dinner, coffee, and iced water is included in the price of this ticket.
