Is Bipartisanship Dead?

Tuesday, October 14, 2025 (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

At a time of historic polarization in Washington and beyond, this timely discussion brings together leading voices from both sides of the aisle to examine whether bipartisanship is truly a relic of the past or if common ground can still be found on the most pressing issues of our day.

This program will feature experienced policymakers and political analysts who have witnessed first-hand the challenges and opportunities of governing across party lines, including former Congresswoman Jane Harman, former Congressman David Dreier, as well as former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, and CNN Political Analyst Ron Brownstein, who have been invited to join as panelists.

The event will take place on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, in partnership with the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, with the UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations serving as a promotional partner.
