Description
The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council, in partnership with the U.A.E. Consulate General in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, and the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation/World Trade Center Los Angeles, invites you to a timely panel discussion on the business environment in the U.A.E. and the current scope of the U.S.-U.A.E. partnership. This event is the second in our U.S. series on the topic of continuity, resiliency, and opportunity in the overall U.S.-U.A.E. business, trade, and investment relationship. Complementing our discussion on May 12 in New York, this event will take place over lunch on Wednesday, May 20 at 12:30 PM PST in Downtown Los Angeles, California.
U.A.E. Consul General to Los Angeles, Hessa Alshuwaihi, will provide introductory remarks, followed by an industry panel featuring senior executives from leading U.S. tourism and entertainment companies with a growing presence in the U.A.E.
This high-level discussion will explore:
- The preparedness, stability, and resiliency of the U.A.E. economy in the current regional environment.
- Firsthand perspectives on how key partners and businesses are maintaining operations and continuing to grow.
- Immense bilateral investment and commercial opportunities between the U.S. and U.A.E. including the U.A.E.'s commitment to invest $1.4 trillion dollars in the U.S. over the next 10 years.
