The Los Angeles World Affairs Council and the Global Affairs Committee of the Jonathan Club invite you to an intimate dinner conversation with His Excellency Dr. Armen Sarkissian, Fourth President of Armenia, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Dr. Sarkissian—former President and Prime Minister of Armenia, distinguished physicist, diplomat, and bestselling author—will discuss his latest book, The Small States Club: How Small Smart States Can Save the World, which examines how small, agile states can shape global governance amid geopolitical uncertainty. Drawing on decades of leadership and his pioneering concept of “Quantum Politics,” he offers a fresh framework for understanding complexity and adaptability in modern international affairs.
A lifelong innovator, Dr. Sarkissian has also been deeply engaged in science, technology, and culture—most famously as co‑developer of the video game Wordtris, a companion to Tetris. His career spans diplomacy, academia, global energy policy, and cross‑disciplinary creativity, making this dinner a rare opportunity to engage with one of the world’s most original and forward‑thinking public intellectuals.
