Screening of Invisible Nation

Screening of Invisible Nation

Tuesday, October 7, 2025 (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM) (PDT)

Description

The Los Angeles World Affairs Council will host a special, free screening of the documentary film Invisible Nation for LAWAC members on Tuesday, October 7th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Screen Engine/ASI facility in Valley Village.

Invisible Nation offers a rare inside look at Taiwan’s first female president, Tsai Ing-wen, as she leads her nation through rising U.S.–China tensions. This powerful documentary sheds light on Taiwan’s political history, its global importance, and the urgent challenges facing democracy today.

Huge thanks to LAWAC Board Member, Kevin Goetz, for his generosity in letting us use his screening room and facility.

This event is exclusively for LAWAC members.
