Executive Producer and International Media Consultant

Rick Ambros is an executive producer, consultant, and former studio executive specializing in international and local-language film, television, and digital media production, co-production, and financing across Asia, Europe, and North America. He has worked with leading studios and media companies including Fox, Sony, Warner Bros., Paramount, MGM, Disney, SK Global, Star TV India, and Applause Entertainment.

Rick has deep experience in the Indian entertainment industry and is currently a Producer on the Hindi feature Boy From Andaman with Richie Mehta and Imagine Entertainment, and Executive Producer of the documentary Magic of India with Mira Nair, Sushmit Ghosh, and Rintu Thomas. He played a key role in establishing Fox Television Studios India and has consulted on local-language productions across Asia and Europe.

Previously, Rick served as COO of Perfect Storm Entertainment, producing Hollywood Adventures and the CBS series Scorpion. He has advised on over $1.5 billion in studio film and television financing, with credits including The Hangover, Sherlock Holmes, Sex and the City, and Mission: Impossible III.

A frequent speaker and juror on international media, co-production, and film finance, Rick is a Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and serves on the President’s Council at Tufts University. He holds a B.A. from Tufts and an M.B.A. from Dartmouth’s Tuck School. An avid runner, he has completed all six World Marathon Majors.
