Description

Join us in welcoming LAPD Chief of Police, Jim McDonnell, on Wednesday, February 26th in DTLA. This program will bring together members of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council and the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), as well as the general public to hear the Chief's insights on enhancing public safety, building community trust, and the critical steps needed to prepare for the challenges of LA hosting the 2026 World Cup, the 2027 Superbowl, and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a leader with an unparalleled breadth of experience in law enforcement, including senior executive roles in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Long Beach Police Department, and now as Chief of the LAPD, Chief McDonnel will bring valuable perspectives to our audience.
